New Brunswick, NJ (January 14, 2021) - Johnson & Johnson strongly condemns the tragic and violent events that occurred at the United States Capitol. These actions sought to undermine the very fabric of our democracy and have led to violence and further divisiveness within our nation. As a healthcare Company with a 130-year history of innovations that improve the health of humanity, and one currently fighting to end the COVID-19 pandemic, the wellbeing of all people is our top priority.

While we support balanced giving on both sides of the aisle, and do so with domestic and global health initiatives in mind, we understand that to whom our contributions are directed matters. We also know that the actions and inactions taken by those who receive these contributions matter. Johnson & Johnson has not made any federal political contributions in 2021 and has paused all political contributions while we review and evaluate our political giving policies and criteria.
