Jibannet Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE:6072) agreed to acquire House Warranty Co., Ltd. from House Warranty General Incorporated, Shield Agency and Homest Network Co., Ltd. on August 6, 2014. The transaction was resolved by Board of Directors of Jibannet Holdings. The expected contract conclusion date is October 14, 2014 and share transfer date is November 5, 2014.
As of October 15, 2014, Jibannet Holdings Co., Ltd. and House Warranty, etc. have postponed the signing of the share transfer contract that was supposed to be concluded on October 14, 2014 and will renegotiate the details of the capital and business tie-up.
Jibannet Holdings Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based holding company specialized in the analysis of ground. The Company operates in groud analysis business. Ground Analysis Service division is involved in the provision of geotechnical analysis reports and quality certificates, through the analysis of ground survey data and the determination of base specifications of housing. Ground Investigation Service division is involved in the provision of ground investigation reports to customers, through the ground investigation of housing. Part Surface Compaction Service division is involved in the provision of part surface compaction services, which comprise the construction of part surface compaction works and the reinvestigation of ground after the part surface compaction works finished, to provide the reinvestigation reports to customers.
