Murad Chia Jei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 90.593 million compared to TWD 98.262 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 5.412 million compared to TWD 17.068 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 10.307 million compared to TWD 10.439 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.15 a year ago.
Jia Jie Biomedical Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing, production and distribution of turtles and turtle processed products. The Company operates through two business segments. Taiwan Operation segment is engaged in the production and sale of health foods. China Mainland Operation segment is engaged in the production of water purification equipment and related parts. Products are include nutrition and health care series, health water series, home supplies series. Products are mainly sold to Taiwan and mainland China.
