PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) and Carollo Engineers announced today that they have been selected by The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District to serve as the Owner's Advisor to the Northern Treatment Plant Program.

The Metro Wastewater Reclamation District is the wastewater treatment authority for the metropolitan Denver area, serving approximately 1.6 million people. The new Northern Treatment Plant and interceptor system is intended to expand the District's current service area by providing cost-effective wastewater service to the northern portion of the greater Denver area.

In their role as Owner's Advisor, Jacobs and Carollo will provide comprehensive program management and engineering services for the design, construction and startup of the Metro District's Northern Treatment Plant. Services provided will include planning, procurement and facilities implementation. This strategic partnership will also render resources, expertise and on-site representatives as an extension of the District's staff.
