J Trust Co., Ltd. (TSE:8508) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 4,000,000 shares, representing 2.91% of the outstanding shares, for ¥2,000 million. The purpose of the program is to return profits to shareholders and enhance capital efficiency.
The program is valid till November 30, 2024. As of January 31, 2024, the company had 137,652,104 shares outstanding (excluding treasury stock) and 9,386,211 shares in treasury.
