The Company primarily focuses on fossil fuel electric power generation and operates a coal fuel thermal power plant in Aliaga, Izmir, which has a total capacity of 370 MW. Izdemir Enerji is a member of the Izmir Demir Group and it is also engaged in the construction and installation of thermal power plant's non-critical parts, such as desalination and demineralization systems, wastewater purification systems, cooling towers, step-up transformers and switchgear with the other group companies. Additionally, The Company is active in the renewable energy sector and it is investing in a 24.5 Mw solar power plant in Izmir.
