Mr Hall is a highly experienced company director, with a
strong background in finance and investment from a career
spanning senior executive positions at AMP, membership of a
range of investment oversight boards, board positions at
securities industry organisations, and significant
participation in government advisory boards related to the
securities, corporate law, managed funds and superannuation
sectors.
The Company is also pleased to announce Mr Aaron Deans will
join Iron Road's executive ranks as Project Manager, as the
company continues to develop the Central Eyre Iron Project
towards a
20Mtpa production rate. Mr Deans is a Project/Construction
Manager with over 25 years'
experience in all facets of the Mining and Construction
industry.
Mr Dean's most recent roles include Onshore Construction
Manager of BHP Billiton's $1.6 billion Macedon Gas Project,
Mine Construction Lead (Definitive Phase Study) for the FAST
joint venture at BHP Billiton's $4 billion RGP 6 mine project
and Construction Manager (Owner's team) for Worley Parsons on
behalf of Fortescue Metals Group's $7 billion Heng Shan
Expansion. Previous experience spans Leighton Contractors,
Rio Tinto, BHP-Billiton, nickel, iron ore and the power
generation sectors.
Iron Road's Chairman, Mr Peter Cassidy, welcome the
additional skills and experience Mr Leigh
Hall would bring to the Board.
"Leigh has an exceptional track record, from his exemplary
career in asset management at AMP, through to his
contributions to a range of public companies, industry
commission and government advisory boards. I welcome the
additional insight and experience Leigh will bring to our
Board," said Mr Cassidy.
"Leigh is also a Director of Funds SA, which invests over $18
billion on behalf of South Australia's public sector
superannuation funds and approved public authorities, so he
well understands the home state for our projects."
Iron Road's Managing Director, Mr Andrew Stocks said that the
appointment of Mr Deans as Project Manager will contribute
extensively to ensuring the successful delivery of the
Definitive Feasibility Study for the Central Eyre Iron
Project through to construction and commissioning.
"The Central Eyre Iron Project is a significant endeavour and
South Australia's largest proposed iron ore development.
Aaron's experience in the delivery of similar large scale
projects will stand us in good stead as we continue the
transition from project developer to iron ore producer," said
Mr Stocks.

About Leigh Hall
Until his retirement, Mr Hall was Deputy Managing Director of
AMP Asset Management Australia Limited. At various times at
AMP, Mr Hall had responsibility for asset allocation, private
capital and marketable securities. Mr Hall is a Member of the
Order of Australia, with a citation for service to business
and commerce, in particular to the improvement of ethical and
professional standards and the efficiency of the Australian
securities markets. Mr Hall is also a Fellow of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors
