MADRID (Reuters) - Spanish carrier Volotea said on Tuesday it was teaming up with Latin American airline holding group Abra - which owns Colombian airline Avianca and Brazil's GOL - to take over slots that IAG may have to sell if remedies are imposed to approve its merger with Air Europa.

The deal does not involve any changes to the shareholding structure, Volotea Chief Executive Carlos Munoz told a news conference.
