Recognized as a top 'extra-large' business for encouraging a culture of innovation and recognition for teammates

TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 26, 2018 - Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT) was named the fifth best place to work among Phoenix companies with more than 1,000 workers during the Phoenix Business Journal's 16th annual awards luncheon held Dec. 13 in Phoenix before an audience of more than 800 local business leaders.

The Journal announced its 'Best Places to Work 2018' rankings across five categories based on business size, and this year more than 120 companies were considered. The rankings measure the best workplace cultures, considering employee morale, engagement and retention based on employee responses to surveys commissioned by the publication.

'Insight thrives on an innovative atmosphere that inspires thoughtful approaches to our clients' greatest challenges,' said Steve Dodenhoff, president, Insight North America. 'We believe recognitions like this and our recent placement in the Fortune 100 Best Workplaces for Diversity exemplify how when you combine different viewpoints, teamwork and positive feedback with the power of modern technology, you push the boundaries of what's possible.'

The Insight experience is built upon the company's core values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony, which drive the notion that the best results come from optimizing people's talents through collaboration and the performance of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™. Each of us has the hunger to challenge, heart to create meaningful solutions, and harmony to work together and deliver it.

Among the Insight programs highlighted by the Journal that empower teammate productivity and job satisfaction include a new performance management model, the company's Recognize! platform for celebrating teammate successes, and a training series for leadership development and team building.

Other company benefits cited by the Journal that make Insight one of Phoenix's 'Best Places to Work' include work-life balance perks like an on-site health center, fun organizational days like 'Bring Your Dog to Work Day,' a new benefits network giving discounts to teammates, an on-site café offering healthy meal options, and the teammate-supported 501(c)3 nonprofit Insight In It Together Foundation providing financial support to teammates in crisis situations.

'We see benefits like these as one way we can invest in our teammates' continued growth and wellbeing,' said Jen Vasin, vice president of human resources, Insight North America. 'Hunger, Heart and Harmony are instilled in everything we do, from the moment we welcome new teammates to helping them develop as a professional, flourish as part of a team, and feel recognized when they succeed. You have a chance to grow here, and in doing so, make transformation happen for Insight and the businesses we partner with by turning ideas into real value.'

This is the third year in a row Insight has been ranked in the top 10 of the Journal's 'Best Places to Work' list. Insight was ranked No. 7 in 2017.
