September 16, 2013 Southwestern Advantage Selects ROAM to Deliver Custom-branded Mobile POS Solution

BOSTON, MA, September 16, 2013 -- ROAM, an Ingenico company and the leading mobile commerce platform provider, today announced that Southwestern Advantage, a leading international education and character development company, has selected ROAM to power its mobile point of sale (mPOS) solution.

The end-to-end solution known as Southwestern Swipe, will enable the company's dealers to securely accept credit card payments on smartphones and tablets while out in the field selling the Southwestern Advantage Learning System.

The company wanted to get to market with its own custom-branded mPOS solution, and launch South western Swipe by white labeling ROAM's end to end mobile commerce platform, including its secure card readers, mPOS application, and management portals.

Leveraging ROAM's fully PCI compliant platform, Southwestern Advantage will now be able to provide its nationwide dealer base with a convenient and secure way to accept credit card payments, while enhancing the customer buying experience and improving business efficiencies. The company will also increase its bottom line by avoiding card-not-present transaction rates and reducing costs associated with post-sale credit card declines and chargebacks.
