PR/1193 Bhartendu Harishchandra Award conferred to IDBI Bank's quarterly Hindi Magazine

Mumbai, January 3, 2013: Bhartendu Harishchandra Award was conferred to IDBI Bank's quarterly Hindi Magazine Vikas Prabha on December 30, 2012 by Dushyant Kumar Smarak Pandulipi Sangrahalay, Bhopal in a graceful literary function held at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal on the occasion of death anniversary of Dushyant Kumar.

Vikas Prabha is a theme based magazine published by IDBI Bank. It has brought out informative material based on many relevant topics related to society and culture and same was critically acclaimed by scholars pan India. Vikas Prabha is known for not only its commitment towards Rajbhasha implementation but also for maintaining its literary quality. The editor of this magazine has always given due importance to linguistic thinking and has always strived to enrich it.
This magazine has been selected amongst the various magazines being published in the country. The prize distribution function was attended by many well known writers, artists and cultural activists of country. This award was received by Dr. Sunil Kumar Lahoti, General Manager (Rajbhasha) and Editor of Vikas Prabha on behalf of the Bank from well known Hindi writer and Padmshree awardee Shri Manjoor Ehetesham and famous cine actor and Padmashree awardee Shri Tom Alter.
