Arturo Perez, Reverte, accompanied by the President of the Council of State, Carmen Calvo, and the Chairman of Iberdrola, Ignacio Galan, presented 'Letters to a Queen', a book published by Zenda in collaboration with Iberdrola, last night at the Lazaro Galdiano Museum in Madrid.

The work, in which more than thirty personalities from the world of national politics and culture have participated, is a rich and diverse look from the Spain of today to the Spain of tomorrow.

Arturo Perez-Reverte opened the event by stressing during his speech that 'the idea was to bring together people of all kinds and create a plural book, but always with respect. And it is. It is a respectful, interesting book that will give food for thought. Not only to readers but also to the person to whom it is addressed, Princess Leonor, the future Queen of Spain, has food for thought in this book'.

For her part, Carmen Calvo, author of one of the letters in the book, pointed out that 'this book is a mosaic or collage of the Spain we are living in at the moment. This book is the definitive product of the maturing of freedoms and coexistence in our country; a book full of men and women, from different professions and with different points of view'.

Presented by the journalist Helena Resano, the event also featured the comedian Raul Cimas and the actor Emilio Buale, who read some fragments of each text together with Helena Resano.

The event was attended by the head of the Royal Household, Camilo Villarino, in what has been an intense week for the Royal Family. These days commemorate the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the marriage of Their Majesties the King and Queen. In addition, Princess Leonor received various distinctions from the city of Zaragoza before finishing her time at the Military Academy.
