Hotai Motor Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 54,665.37 million compared to TWD 60,678.3 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 61,172.9 million compared to TWD 66,825.6 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 4,293.29 million compared to TWD 5,003.85 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.86 compared to TWD 9.16 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 7.85 compared to TWD 9.16 a year ago.
Hotai Motor Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the distribution of motor vehicles and relevant parts. The Company primarily provides passenger cars and business vehicles, with brands named LEXUS, TOYOTA and others, as well as large-sized vehicles, including trucks and passenger cars, with brands named HINO. In addition, it is involved in the provision of air conditioners for vehicles, vehicle leasing services and installment payment services, as well as parts and components for vehicles. The Company is also engaged in insurance business. The Company operates its businesses primarily in domestic market.
