OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Heritage Financial Corp. (HFWA) on Thursday reported second-quarter profit of $16.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Olympia, Washington-based company said it had net income of 48 cents.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 49 cents per share.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $77.4 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $63.1 million, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $64.9 million.
