Hengdian Entertainment Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 91.546 million compared to CNY 873.533 million a year ago. Operating loss was CNY 150.205 million compared to operating Income of CNY 202.438 million a year ago. Net loss was CNY 137.632 million compared to net income of CNY 158.929 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.22 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.25 a year ago.

The Cinema Distribution Business segment is mainly engaged in the provision of cinema services through its cinema chains. The Companyâs major releasing films include Top Funny Comedian, Rock Hero, Ten Thousand Years Later, Love Will Tear Us Apart and others.
