Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is a Malaysia-based retail-focused real estate investment trust (REIT). The Trust's primary objectives are to provide unitholders with sustainable dividend income and to achieve a long-term capital appreciation of the REIT. The Trust's investment strategies include investing and managing real estate assets predominantly involved in retail and/or shopping centers; focused on investing under a long-term investment horizon; managing and continuing to extract synergies and efficiencies from the existing portfolio, and others. The Trust's portfolio of commercial properties includes Subang Parade in Subang Jaya, Selangor; Mahkota Parade in Melaka; Wetex Parade & Classic Hotel in Muar, Johor; Central Square in Sungai Petani, Kedah; Kulim Central in Kulim, Kedah, and Segamat Central in Segamat, Johor. The Trust's manager is Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd and the property manager is Hektar Property Services Sdn Bhd.
