Haulotte posted historic half-year sales of 403.7 ME, up +40% on the previous year.

This change is mainly due to the strong increase in sales volumes and the positive impact of sales price increases", stresses the group.

Sales are up +25% in Europe, driven by all markets, with the exception of Russia, which has come to a standstill. Sales were up 36% in Asia-Pacific (driven mainly by Australia), +85% in North America, and +47% in Latin America.

Despite this increase in sales, Group net income came in at +0.5 ME, or +0.1% of sales, negatively impacted in its financial result by mostly unrealized foreign exchange losses (-8 ME), as the currency environment was less favorable to the Group over the half-year. Last year at the same period, the Group's net income stood at 2.2 ME.

In this context, Haulotte anticipates annual sales growth of between +25% and +30% in 2023, and a current operating margin (excluding exchange gains and losses) of between +3% and +4% of sales.
