Algama SAS announced that it has received €13 million in a round of funding on January 12, 2023. The transaction included participation from new investors, Thai Union Corporate Venture Fund, a fund managed by Thai Union Group Public Company Limited, Investment Arm, Noshaq S.A., Newtree Impact, Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. de C.V., Beyond Advisors IC, Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. de C.V. and more.
Grupo Bimbo SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged in the food processing sector. The Company focuses on the manufacture, distribution and sale of bread, breakfast bread muffins and bagels, frozen bread, cakes and smaller cakes, sweet and non-sweet cookies, tortillas, pita bread, pizza bread, tostadas and tortillas, snacks, salads and candies, among others.
