Griffon Corporation reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended March 31, 2024. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 672.88 million compared to USD 710.98 million a year ago. Net income was USD 64.14 million compared to net loss of USD 62.26 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.34 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 1.17 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.28 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 1.17 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 1,316.03 million compared to USD 1,360.37 million a year ago. Net income was USD 106.32 million compared to net loss of USD 13.55 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.2 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.1 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.26 a year ago.
