Item 8.01 - Other Events.

Effective immediately, Ganesh V. Jois no longer serves as a portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs MLP and Energy Renaissance Fund (the "Fund").

Effective immediately, Akif Irfan will begin serving as a portfolio manager for the Fund.

Mr. Irfan joined Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P., the investment adviser for the Fund, in 2011 and is a portfolio manager for the Energy & Infrastructure Team.
