Giełda Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie S.A. ("the Warsaw Stock Exchange", "GPW", "the Exchange" or "the Company") announces that the GPW Supervisory Board acting pursuant to Article 368 § 4 of the Code of Commercial Companies and Partnerships in conjunction with § 20.3 of the Company's Articles of Association and article 27.1 of the Act Of 29 July 2005 On Trading In Financial Instruments, in connection with theconducted qualification procedure for the position of a Member of the Management Board of the WSE responsible for IT, decided at its meeting held on 23 April 2024 to appoint Mr Sławomir Panasiuk as Vice President of the Exchange Management Board. Vice President of the Management Board will be responsible in particular for IT and technology. The aforementioned decision shall take effect conditional on the approval of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority for the change on the Exchange Management Board.

The CV of the newly appointed Vice President of the Management Board is attached hereto.

According to the declaration submitted by Mr Sławomir Panasiuk, he conducts no activity competitive to GPW, has no interest in a competitive company as partner in a partnership or civil partnership or as member of a body of a capital company and has no interest in any other competitive legal entity as member of its bodies. Furthermore, the newly appointed Vice President of the Management Board has a clean record in the Bad Debtor Registry maintained under the Act on the National Court Register.

Legal basis: § 5 (5) of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of March 29, 2018 regarding current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and conditions for recognizing as equivalent information required by the laws of a non-member state.
