For the fall winter 2012-2013 men's wear collection, Geox set out to revisit the   outdoor classics, delivering a nonchalant country-meets-city look infused with the company's most characterizing traits - innovation, contemporary design, technology and of course, its patented breathing system.

The latter, in fact, is the protagonist of the Geox Performing Concept, a ground breaking technique that debuts this season, where Geox's hallmark breathing system is applied to the men's and women's outerwear collections.

The process employs a "2-layers" fabric featuring a waterproof, breathable and windproof membrane, coupled with an ultra-light and high-tech material - Thermore - that provides top performance in different climatic conditions. The jackets are usually padded with a thin Thermore layer to withstand intensive use while ensuring a high insulating power that helps maintain a constant body temperature.     

For fall, the Geox Performing Concept is applied to dapper outerwear that caps Geox's longstanding heritage and tradition while exuding a contemporary urban vibe. 

The entire collection pulsates with an urban casual look that stems from Geox's unique vision of pioneering technology and modern designs and styling. The highlights is the waxed cotton anorak with micro check flannel lining, nonchalantly tossed over slim sweaters and five-pocket trousers in stretch cotton or gabardine. 

The knitwear plays a key role with a vast selection spanning tradition and innovation thanks to beefy sweaters counterbalanced by fine gauge weights in solid, striped and zipped versions to be worn under a crop of outerwear - sporty blousons, long pocketed coats, leather bombers jackets. 

Small details such as contrast piping and special compartments for iPhones and Mp3 readers are yet another added value while jeans and five pocket styles in velvet or washed cotton chinos round out the offering.

The color wheel is filled winter grays, shades of blue, warm earth tones and deep forest green.
