Fu Ta Material Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2020. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 119.595 million compared to TWD 165.572 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 38.381 million compared to TWD 47.407 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 50.116 million compared to net income of TWD 313.474 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.09 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 6.82 a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.09 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 7.02 a year ago.
Fu Ta Material Technology Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and distribution of nylon yarns. The Company operates its businesses through three segments. The Spun Yarn segment is engaged in the production and sales of cotton yarns, artificial cotton yarns, blended yarns and synthetic fiber yarns. The Grey Cloth segment is engaged in the production, processing and trading of cotton fabrics, artificial silk fabrics, blended grey cloth and artificial grey cloth. The Electronic Material segment is engaged in the recycling of solar energy materials, such as silicon wafers and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
