(Alliance News) - Franchi Umberto Marmi Spa reported Wednesday that total revenues as of March 31 were EUR19.7 million, down 13 percent, compared to EUR22.7 million recorded in the same period last year, with a significant contribution from sales in EMEA, Asia and North America.

The decrease in revenues is mainly caused by the decline in sales in Italy, the company's note says, which fell by 38 percent.

Significant growth, on the other hand, was achieved in North America, up 86 percent, and Australia, which increased by triple digits.

Franchi Umberto Marmi closed Wednesday in the green by 0.9 percent to EUR5.95 per share.
