FGC UES (a member of the Rosseti Group) held a meeting with leading Russian manufacturers of power transformers and shunt reactors to discuss product use and features improvement. The meeting was attended by Andrey Murov, Chairman of the Board of FGC UES, and the heads of Russian enterprises.

The list of participants included Vladimir Chistyakov, Head of Tolyattinskiy Transformator, Leonid Makarevich, Head of Elektrozavod, Aleksey Kishko, Head of SVEL, Igor Ivanov, Head of Siemens Transformers, and Konstantin Stofeyev, Head of Power Machines Toshiba High-Voltage Transformers.

The parties discussed operation experience and features of the equipment supplied to the main grid facilities, development of promising innovative modifications of transformers and reactors, and progress in the implementation of FGC UES's joint projects.

Another important issue for discussion was further steps and their concert aimed at promoting the development of science-based production in the country.

Andrey Murov noted that FGC UES annually increases the share of equipment procured from Russian manufacturers. With the adoption of the import substitution program in 2015, the company has significantly raised the level of purchasing of major products from domestic manufacturers to 75%, while import of power transformers and shunt reactors have been minimized.
