Favite, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 226.521 million compared to TWD 569.005 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 6.699 million compared to TWD 46.665 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.672 million compared to net income of TWD 54.883 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.11 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.69 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 544.834 million compared to TWD 1,356.150 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 38.733 million compared to TWD 172.007 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 29.420 million compared to TWD 182.657 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 2.31 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.37 compared to TWD 2.29 a year ago.
Favite Inc is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of automatic optical inspection (AOI) machines and the provision of maintenance services. The Company's products include thin-film transistor automated optical inspection machine, protrusion automated optical inspection machine, photomask automated optical inspection machine, high-speed defect photo machine, color filter automated optical inspection machine, and automated optical slit inspection machine. The Company's products and services also include multifunctional optical microscope systems and artificial intelligence (AI) smart optics solutions.
