Favite, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 569.005 million compared to TWD 312.155 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 46.665 million compared to operating loss of TWD 20.786 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 54.883 million compared to TWD 18.435 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.69 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,356.150 million compared to TWD 622.092 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 172.007 million compared to operating loss of TWD 13.204 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 182.657 million compared to TWD 7.900 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.31 compared to TWD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.29 compared to TWD 0.1 a year ago.
Favite Inc is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and distribution of automatic optical inspection (AOI) machines and the provision of maintenance services. The Company's products include thin-film transistor automated optical inspection machine, protrusion automated optical inspection machine, photomask automated optical inspection machine, high-speed defect photo machine, color filter automated optical inspection machine, and automated optical slit inspection machine. The Company's products and services also include multifunctional optical microscope systems and artificial intelligence (AI) smart optics solutions.
