Robert E. Griffin has informed the Board of Directors of Escalade, Incorporated that he will retire from the company's Board of Directors effective as of the date of the company's 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders expected to be held April 24, 2015. Therefore, Mr. Griffin will not stand for re-election to the Board of Directors at the 2015 Annual Meeting.
Escalade, Incorporated designs, manufactures, and sells sporting goods, fitness, and indoor/outdoor recreation equipment. It operates in one business segment: Sporting Goods (Escalade Sports). Escalade Sports manufactures, imports, and distributes sporting goods brands in basketball goals, archery, indoor and outdoor game recreation and fitness products through sporting goods retailers, specialty dealers, key on-line retailers, direct-to-consumer e-commerce, traditional department stores and mass merchants.
