NOTICE TO THE MARKET

Equatorial Energia S.A. ("Company"), having shares traded in the Novo Mercado segment at B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão under "EQTL3", informs its shareholders and the market that, on July 25, it has obtained the Construction License (Licença de Instalação, in Portuguese) from SEMAS (State Department for the Environment), to its transmission line project: lot 31 (Block 4), from ANEEL's Auction held on April, 2017.

In the table below, we can see all the transmission greenfield projects of Equatorial Energia S.A.

Lot 31 is part of Block 4, with total annual revenues reaching R$ 134 million (as of Jun/18) and total investment of R$ 714 million, as per ANEEL estimates.

The Construction License was obtained practically one year after the signature of the concession contract and the Company, from the legal standpoint, is authorized to start the construction.
