MILAN (Reuters) - Plenitude has joined a partnership between BlueFloat Energy and Sener Renewable Investments to develop offshore wind projects in Spain, the low-carbon unit of Italian energy group Eni said on Monday.
The joint venture, formed three years ago by BlueFloat and Sener, has a portfolio of around 1.25 gigawatt (GW) of floating offshore wind projects across Galicia, Catalonia and the Canary Islands.
Plenitude operates in 15 countries with a portfolio of around 3 GW of renewable capacity in operations and targets a capacity of 7 GW by 2026.
