Engineers India Limited (EIL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Munitions India Limited (MIL) for execution of Plant Modernization & Infrastructure Projects of MIL. The MoU was exchanged between Mr Ravi Kant, C&MD, MIL and Ms Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL during AERO INDIA 2023 at Bengaluru on February 13, 2023.
Munitions India Limited is a Defence Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. MIL, India's biggest manufacturer and market leader, is engaged in Production, Testing Research & Development and Marketing of comprehensive range of ammunition & explosives for Army, Navy, Air force & Para-Military Forces. The MoU heralds EIL's foray into Defence sector, giving a fillip to the diversification into newer areas.
