Empresa Regional de Servicio Publico de Electricidad de Puno SAA (Electro Puno SAA) is a Peru-based company primarily engaged in the distribution and sale of electric power in the department of Puno, as well as it is involved in a minor scale in works of generation and transmission. The Companyâs facilities comprise a 60 kilovolts (kV) sub-transmission line of approximately 138.5 kilometers connecting the intersections of Juliaca-Puno, Puno-Ilave and Ilave-Pomata; the Chijisia hydroelectric power station, which operates in the province of Sandia, and four centers of power transformation located in Puno, Ilave, Pomata and Antauta. As of December 31, 2011, Fondo Nacional de Financiamiento de la Actividad Empresarial del Estado (FONAFE) was the Companyâs majority shareholder with 99.46% of its interest.
