Emak S.p.A. announces preliminary net sales of 2011

Consolidated net sales at 31 December 2011 stand at €204.2 million (-1.2% vs. 2010).

Considering the new scope of consolidation of the Group, consolidated pro-forma net sales 2011 at € 356.9 million (+2.3% vs. pro-forma 2010).

Bagnolo in Piano (RE), 31 January 2012 -EmakS.p.A. announces that during financial year 2011 the Gourp achieved a consolidated turnover of €204.2 million, a decrease of 1.2% compared to the year 2010.

The year has been mainly characterized by unfavorable weather conditions and by the slow down of the global economy.

The most significant factor of the year was the acquisition of Tecome Group, Comet Group, Sabart and Raico, that will be consolidated in the income statement of Emak starting from 1 January 2012.

The consolidated pro-forma net sales for 2011, considering the new scope of consolidation of the Group starting from 1 January 2011, stand at €356.9 million, an incease of 2.3% compared to the pro-forma figure of 2010.

Thanks to this operation, Emak will achieve a significant size increase, key factor for success in operating on always more competitive markets, and furthermore will obtain significant benefits deriving from cross-selling opportunities through the network and through customers and from Integration of technological, productive and managerial resources in the respective companies.

The financial structure of the Group, strengthened also by the capital increase successfully closed in December 2011, will support growth plans to be achieved internally and externally.
