DORTMUND (dpa-AFX) - Semiconductor manufacturer Elmos has confirmed its forecast for the current year after significant growth in the first quarter. In 2023, sales are further expected to increase by more than a quarter to more than 560 million Euro, the SDax-listed company announced in Dortmund on Thursday. The forecast for the margin measured by earnings before interest and taxes (Ebit) remains at around 25 percent, with a fluctuation range of two percentage points up and down. In the three months to the end of March, sales climbed 36 percent to 131 million euros, the company said. Earnings before interest and taxes climbed 63 percent to 32 million euros. The margin increased by 4.1 percentage points to 24.3 percent./zb/stk
