The new organisational structure will give additional impetus to the incubation projects of more than 100 startups and to the development of Open Innovation programs

Milan, November 30, 2015 - Digital Magics S.p.A., business incubator listed on AIM Italia of the Italian Stock Exchange (symbol: DM), today introduced the new corporate governance.

Today, the meeting of Digital Magics Shareholders after approving the statutory change regarding the introduction of the office of one or more Vicechairmans, resolved to approve the following:

• to appoint Alberto Fioravanti as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, Co-Founder of Digital Magics with the late Enrico Gasperini, Gabriele Ronchini and Gabriele Gresta;

• to integrate the Board of Directors by appointing Marco Gay as a Board Member and Vicechairman

  of the Company.

  
  

  A proceeding Digital Magics Board meeting, also approved to reinforce the first line of the historical partners, through the granting of wide powers to the Chairman Alberto Fioravanti and the appointment of three Managing Directors, Alessandro Malacart, Layla Pavone and Gabriele Ronchini.

  
  

  The new governance will give further substance to projects that are of the most important national platform for innovation in regards to DIGITAL MADE ITALY, which along with Talent Garden and Tamburi Investment Partners aims to develop more than 100 startups in the next two years, through the opening of 50 new co-working campuses, and to promote the entry of new investors and the implementation of the strategic plan of Open Innovation.

  
  

  The three Managing Directors will have the responsibility and the related delegations in order to operate in the following areas: Alessandro Malacart - Corporate & Finance, Layla Pavone - Industry Innovation, Gabriele Ronchini - Portfolio Development.

  
  

  Vicechairman Marco Gay will be working alongside the Chairman Alberto Fioravanti in representational activities, but first and foremost he will have the role of developing corporate relationships with institutional and private players, joining the team of Digital Magics in the implementation of strategic business plans.

  
  

  Edmondo Sparano, Chief Digital Officer, will be the point of reference for the selection process and the analysis of new digital initiatives related to startups - which have proven to be the beating heart of Digital Magics - and programs of Open Innovation.

  
  

  The great expertise of the Digital Magics team produces an added value in key areas of the digital sector, endowed by each Partner, along with the ability to work in synergy in the various areas of the ecosystem of startups and SMEs, fueling the 'cross fertilisation' which remains a key issue for the growth of young innovative enterprises.
