OCL India Ltd. completed the acquisition of remaining 50% stake in OCL Global Ltd. from Dalmia International FZE.

OCL India Ltd. (BSE:502165) agreed to acquire remaining 50% stake in OCL Global Ltd. from Dalmia International FZE for $8.94 million on November 6, 2012. OCL India Ltd. will acquire 0.05 million ordinary shares and 1.37 million preference shares of OCL Global Ltd. The Board of Directors of OCL India Ltd. approved the transaction.

OCL India Ltd. (BSE:502165) completed the acquisition of remaining 50% stake in OCL Global Ltd. from Dalmia International FZE on January 1, 2013.

Dalmia Bharat Limited is an India-based cement manufacturing company. The Company is principally engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of cement and its related products. It operates in management services segment. The Companyâs products include Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Portland Slag Cement (PSC), Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC), Portland Composite Cement (PCC) and other specialty cements. Its specialty cements include sulfate-resisting Portland cement, railway sleeper cement, oil well cement and special cements for air strips and nuclear power plants construction. The Companyâs brands include Dalmia DSP Cement, Dalmia Cement, Konark Cement, Dalmia Infra PRO, Dalmia Infra Green, Dalmia Insta Pro and Dalmia Magic. The Company offers its products to individual consumers and institutional customers. It provides a range of cement-based surface finish solution alternative to putty.
