Daiken Co. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter ended November 2016. For the quarter, the company's net sales were JPY 7,453 million against JPY 7,751 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 199 million against JPY 203 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 194 million against JPY 216 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 126 million against JPY 129 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share were JPY 21.48 against JPY 21.97 a year ago.
For the full year ending February 2017, the company expects net sales to be JPY 11,000 million, operating income to be JPY 510 million, ordinary income to be JPY 520 million and profit to be JPY 310 million or basic per share to be JPY 52.79.
DAIKEN CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of building hardware, exterior building materials and exterior products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Building Related Products segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of exterior building materials, interior building materials, as well as home delivery boxes, door hangers, and household sliding door closers. The Real Estate Rental segment is engaged in the operation of rental apartments for singles and rental stores. Exterior building materials include shades, aluminum drainers, handrails for shades, exterior blindfolded panels. Interior building materials include inspection doors, pits, gratings, stainless steel entrance wiping mats, ceiling lighting louvers, aluminum pipes, curtain rails.
