Cybergun announces that its shareholders, convened at an Extraordinary General Meeting on March 21, voted to set up a new legal structure as a société en commandite par action (SCA), instead of a société anonyme.

The leisure shooting specialist explains that this transformation, and the adoption of new articles of association, are designed to protect strategic assets (exclusive brand licenses and military contracts) from a hostile takeover.

Cybergun Développement, a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint stock company) controlled by HBR Investment Group, will become Cybergun's managing partner and sole general partner, with unlimited joint and several liability for the company's debts.
