CY4GATE COMMITMENT IN GEODE PROJECT ‐ GALILEO FOR EU DEFENCE

CY4GATE (AIM: CY4) company active in the cyber market at 360 °, announces its participation in GEODE (GalilEO for EU DEfence), an industrial consortium that includes the major European industrial players in the defense sector and developed in the context of the EURAS (European Radio-navigation Solution) PESCO (permanent structured cooperation) project, with the aim to promote the development of military capabilities within the European Union, exploiting Galileo - a civilian satellite positioning and navigation system developed in Europe - and its Public Regulated Service (PRS).

30 companies and organizations from 14 EU Member States: )Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Romania) are involved in GEODE. Contributions to the project are expected to exceed € 82.7 million, with the EU contribution of around € 44 million. Belgium, Germany, Italy, France and Spain are also co-financing the project.

The role of CY4GATE in this partnership concerns cyber protection of the ground segment of the newly developed capabilities. all the space systems.

GEODE, which will be completed by 2026, has among its objectives, to strengthen the military capacity of EU Member States, creating business opportunities for the EU industry in the field of military application of satellite navigation and enhance the benefits of the Galileo program in all EU member states and beyond.
