(Alliance News) - CrowdFundMe SpA and subsidiary Trusters, which was acquired for 51 percent on Nov. 10, 2022, and for an additional 7.3 percent on Nov. 25, 2022, announced on Wednesday its key integrated results for 2022.

Overall, the group raised more than EUR39 million in 2022. A result that brought the total investments made on the CrowdFundMe and Trusters platforms-operating as a real estate investment platform-to over EUR129 million.

Moreover, in 2022, with 119 campaigns launched, the number of investments exceeded 18,000. "This result shows the breadth and strength of the CrowdFundMe group's investor base, which would not be possible to reach through other funding channels," the company explains in a note.

Relative to the 2022 results of collections in equity, Crowdfundingbuzz published a report last Jan. 9 in which it analyzed the numbers of Italian platforms specifying that "in terms of performance, CrowdFundMe is the one that has grown the most" with 37 percent.

In addition to the portal, issuing companies also continue to grow, outperforming the market average, as evidenced by the analysis of the Crowdinvesting Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano: the Equity Crowdfunding Index, i.e., the NAV - net asset value - that signals the revaluation of companies that have closed successful campaigns through Equity Crowdfunding, indicates 248 points for CrowdFundMe against an average of 175 points.

In the area of minibonds, which represent coupon-yielding bond instruments for investing in SMEs, Biovalley Investments Partner's transaction was successfully concluded in 2022. The industry group specializing in investments in the BioHighTech sector and innovative companies operating in the life sciences, medical and digital markets raised subscriptions of EUR1.7 million.

In 2023, as CrowdFundMe and Trusters are gradually optimized, the group expects to implement significant synergies on both the revenue and cost sides.

Goals also include growth in key KPIs and, in particular, increasing overall funding and broadening the investor base.

Tommaso Baldissera Pacchetti, CEO of CrowdFundMe, said, "In 2023 the synergy between CrowdFundMe and Trusters will be able to release its full potential. Our goal is to consolidate ourselves in the national landscape as a key player in alternative finance."

"The group will continue to offer multiple investment opportunities, varying in both duration and type of monetization. In practice, investors have and will continue to have all the tools at their disposal to build a diversified and profitable portfolio," he concluded.

CrowdFundMe's stock on Wednesday trades in the green by 1.2 percent at EUR3.40 per share.
