Croatia Airlines is introducing new international flights from Zagreb to Sofia and Podgorica in this year's summer timetable (starting on 29th March 2020). Croatia Airlines is starting to operate scheduled international flights from Zagreb to Sofia on 1st May until the end of October this year. Flights will be operated three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - aboard a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft with a seating capacity of 76. As of 18 February 2020, return tickets for flights between the Croatian capital and the capital of Bulgaria are available at promotional prices starting at EUR 139. Two days later, on 3rd May 2020, Croatia Airlines is also introducing scheduled international flights on the Zagreb - Podgorica route. Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays also aboard a Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, with return tickets available at promotional prices starting at EUR 119. The offer of promotional prices applies only to ticket purchases made online (www.croatiaairlines.hr/m.croatiaairlines.hr) or via the Croatia Airlines mobile application, and the prices include airport fees and charges, and the ticket service charge (TSC). For purchases made at other points of sale, TSC is charged. In comparison to last year's tourist season, in which the company had a fleet of 14 aircraft (12 of its own and 2 leased CRJ1000 aircraft), Croatia Airlines is opening this year's tourist season with one more aircraft in its fleet. Based on a dry lease, the company's fleet will in late March be expanded to include an Airbus 319 with a seating capacity of 150. Moreover, in late April, a 76-seat Dash 8-Q400 is also joining the fleet as support in cases of unplanned air traffic disruptions. In addition, in the period between April and October this year, Croatia Airlines is planning to wet lease one CRJ1000 aircraft from Spain's Air Nostrum. As a result, the company will have a fleet of 15 aircraft this year (two Airbus 320 aircraft, five Airbus 319 aircraft, seven Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, and one CRJ1000 aircraft). During this year's tourist season, Croatia Airlines will be operating scheduled flights to 40 destinations in 26 countries, thus continuing to contribute to regular and year-round air connectivity in both national and international air traffic, as well as continuing to provide strong support to the development of Croatia's tourism potential.
