Crédito Agrícola and Crédit Agricole Leasing & Factoring Portugal (CAL & F) have entered into a partnership: CAL & F is now in charge of marketing factoring products for the Portuguese banking group. The Crédito Agrícola Group has chosen CAL & F as a strategic partner to provide its clients with national and export factoring solutions. Crédito Agrícola chose CAL & F as a partner mainly because of its value- added offer and because the two establishments share a similar banking profile and origins. The distribution agreement provides for training by CAL & F of Crédito Agrícola's sales teams and joint visits to clients brought by the Portuguese bank. CAL & F Portugal will be responsible for the analysis and approval of files, as well as the management and control of contracts. Weekly meetings will also be organized with Crédito Agrícola. Training sessions for sales teams have been launched with the management of the Portuguese bank and are being carried out by their counterparts at CAL & F Portugal. The partnership between the two financial institutions, which began on January 2, 2021, will allow CAL & F to continue its expansion in Portugal and Crédito Agrícola to offer a range of quality factoring solutions to its clients.
