CondAlign and Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions have entered into an agreement to develop next generation Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) for the electric vehicle and electronics markets. Following the recent completion of successful stage I and II proof of concept studies, the parties now take the collaboration to a next level for development of thermally conductive adhesives and TIM pads for thermal management in EV batteries and electronics applications. The partnership combines CondAlign's proprietary particle alignment technology with the deep materials expertise of Saint-Gobain to surpass the limits of thermal performance seen in the market today.

The scope of the current agreement includes development of 2 TIM product prototypes and detailed plans for industrial scale up and analysis of commercial viability. This project scope is planned to conclude within 6 to 12 months. The intention is to conduct license agreement discussions during the same period with the goal of entering final negotiations upon project completion, enabling industrialization and production of TIM products based on the CondAlign technology by Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions to the global market.
