Compass Group UK & Ireland, a leading provider of food and support services across the UK is calling on SMEs to enter the first The Idea Works! of 2015.

The initiative finds the best innovative new concepts in food, drink, services and facilities management and helps get them off the ground. To enter, candidates fill in a short online form and shortlisted businesses and entrepreneurs will be invited to pitch to a panel of expert judges, Dragon's Den style. If finalists get four yes votes from the judges, Compass will work with them to implement their idea into the Compass business and potentially to the wider market - opening up a wealth of opportunities.

Judges for the next event include Mark Lewis, Editor, The Caterer; Steve Cenci, Managing Director, Healthcare; Paul Galvin, Financial Director, Compass Group UK and Ireland and Nick Vadis, UK Executive Chef, Compass Group UK and Ireland.

The Idea Works! launched in 2012 and since then has helped many businesses introduce their product to the market through the Compass sectors. Previous participants include Mr Sherick's Shakes, Jimmy's Iced Coffee, Leak Lizard and Cocktail Magic.

The next judging event will take place 21st January 2015 at The Hospitality Show.
