Compania de Inversiones La Espanola SA is a Chile-based investment company. The Company’s activities consist on the acquisition, management and exploitation of shareholdings in companies from various business sectors. It invests in all kinds of movable and immovable property, shares and securities. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned fully consolidated subsidiaries Inmobiliaria Prat SA and Portezuelo SA, as well as it also held minor stakes in such entities as Antarchile SA, Quemchi SA, Empresas Carozzi SA, Sipsa SA and Minera Valparaiso SA, among others.
