CCU ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
I. OBJECTIVES
As part of being CCU, the concern for the planet is an integral part of our identity.
On the basis of our Environmental Vision, we recognize the importance of doing business with a long-term approach. Therefore, this objective implies the need to develop and promote among our internal and external stakeholders a culture aimed at minimizing environmental impacts throughout the life cycle of our processes and products, beyond mere regulatory compliance.
We are focused on the continuous improvement of the standards with we operate, also considering the context in which our industry develops and the great challenges faced by society in environmental matters. The statements contained in this document are consistent with local and international principles and best practices to which we adhere, such as the United Nations Global Compact.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITY
This Policy applies to all business units, subsidiaries and countries where CCU operates.
III. DESCRIPTION
Considering these commitments, at CCU we promote the following criteria:
Operate rigorously in compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations, extending this commitment to our suppliers, contractors, partners and strategic allies. A preventative approach will be applied to minimize the potential environmental impacts of our operations when and where regulations do not exist.
Establish an adequate identification, evaluation and management of environmental risks and impacts throughout the supply chain: in our own and third party processes, facilities and operation centers; in the products and services we deliver, as well as in their logistics and distribution.
Consider the following key management objectives: reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions per unit of product, reduce waste generated and increase the recovery of waste that is inevitably generated, and reduce water consumption per unit of product.
Monitor the key objectives mentioned above with specific goals through our Environmental Vision, a plan that establishes our short, medium and long-term path.
