Comnetix Inc. (Comnetix) is a provider of software-centric biometric identification and authentication business workflow automation solutions focused mainly in North America. Comnetix provides all aspects of system solution delivery, including software applications, systems architecture design, hardware procurement, custom-coded interfaces and databases, turnkey installation, end-user (or training-the-trainer) customer training and automated software upgrades, followed by around-the-clock maintenance and support. Comnetix's solutions are used in law enforcement/criminal justice, applicant screening, government/civil identification, the United States Homeland Security and enterprise markets. In December 2006, Northern Financial Corporation acquired a 10.1% interest in Comnetix Inc. In February 2007, the Company was acquired by L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc.
