For some time the management of Clifton Mining Company has focused on filling previous vacancies in its board of directors. The focus has been two-fold. One is to have an outside board, with a majority of members not related to the founding family.

The other is to add individuals who can contribute significantly to areas of particular interest to the company: metallurgy, including microwave processing; biotechnology; and interests of potentially large investors. The board has selected three candidates, who will be voted on at the annual general meeting on November 14th. Their resumes follow.
