Chih Lien Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 282.105 million compared to TWD 310.467 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 30,000 compared to TWD 13.984 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.961 million compared to net income of TWD 10.195 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.02 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.1 a year ago.

The Companyâs main products include provides steel wires, including high-carbon steel wires, low-carbon steel wires, springs and annealed wires, which are applied in the manufacture of umbrellas, steel cables, screws, sports apparatus and others, as well as steel bars, including cutting steels, medium-carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels and polished rods, which are applied in manufacture of electronic, computer, bicycle, motorcycle and automobile components, as well as industrial tools and components.
