Charwood Energy has announced the acquisition of a 40% stake in LG Concept, a major regional player in the supply of renewable biomass for boiler plants in Brittany and neighbouring regions.

LG Concept specializes in the production and logistics of wood energy. Today, it has 5 platforms spread across western France, enabling it to be as close as possible to the resource and its uses.

LG Concept currently employs 20 people and has all the equipment needed for forestry operations (chippers, shovel, secateurs, handling equipment).

Its current production capacity is 40,000 tonnes of fuel per year, representing around 140,000 Mwh/year of renewable energy. In 2022, LG Concept achieved sales of around 3 ME.

' This strategic acquisition reflects our desire to control our supply of renewable biomass. It fits in perfectly with our mission to produce renewable energy from biomass", commented Adrien Haller, Chairman, CEO and founder of Charwood Energy.
